A Code Green update

As many of you know, Mission Critical recently launched our Code Green campaign. But, even though our logo has changed back to the original red color, my hair is still green, and we are still on our sustainability mission.

Like I mentioned in the video, the reason I decided to dye my hair was to participate in the “Power of One” effort that 7x24 Exchange Intl. introduced in honor of International Data Center Day. And, it worked!

Over the years, I’ve had a lot of different hair colors and heard a lot of comments, all of which I take as a compliment. But, I’ve never received so much feedback as I have with the green. Seeing as how this was the first time I dyed my hair for a cause, I’d say that worked out pretty great.

As promised, I told everyone who asked that I did it to celebrate International Data Center Day. It’s not surprising that most people replied with, “What’s that?” or “I didn’t know that was a thing.” But, what was surprising was the fact that the majority of people asked the type of questions that made it easy to have an informative conversation about the industry.
